Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord [as their indispensable necessity].  Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore.  [Earnestly] remember the marvelous deeds that He has done, His miracles and wonders, the judgments and sentences which He pronounced [upon His enemies, as in Egypt].  PS 105 : 3-5  AMPC

Glory in the name of the Lord:  The names of God speak of His character.  Think on the character of God – His unchanging, unwavering character.  Think on how He has made Himself real to you and rejoice!  Call on His name as a strong tower, know that you are safe and rejoice!

Seek the Lord and require Him as your indispensable necessity:  Live recognizing that He is more crucial than the air you breathe…necessary to your existence.  Seek God and His presence more than anything else!

Seek, inquire of and for the Lord:  God says in His Word that You will seek Him and find Him when you seek Him with all your heart.  Chase after Him.  Seek Him in prayer, worship and reading the Word.  Ask God questions.  He wants to be known.  He wants communion and relationship with us.  It is a joy to the heart of the Father when we come to Him with our thoughts.  Ask of Him all that you need and He will provide.  Ask with confidence and trust that He will do as He has promised.  To care for you watchfully and lovingly.  To clothe you in more splendor than the lilies of the field.  To consider every hair on your head precious. In all our asking of Him, may we never forget to ask FOR Him.  Ask Him for a greater awareness of His presence in your life.  For more of His nature to be expressed through you.

Crave Him and His strength:  Have an insatiable desire for the Lord.  Crave the strength that comes from resting in Him.  The strength that He gives when we admit we are in need of His strength, laying down our own.  Your strength will not move mountains.  Your strength can’t stand against the enemy.  Your strength can’t remain in perfect peace as the storm rages around you.  But God’s strength can do ALL THINGS.  So ask Him for His strength.  Lean on Him and trust that He will hold you up.

Seek and require His face and His presence continually:  We live and move and have our being in God.  Seek His face, not just His hand.  Gaze upon His beautiful countenance.  Seek His presence not just His provision.  Seek Him for who He is.  Let this be the posture of your heart and the framework for your day.

Earnestly remember:  Recall the marvelous deeds He has done.  Recount His miracles and wonders.  Recite the judgements He pronounced on His enemies.  Rehearse the goodness of God like your favorite movie.  Know the script of His mercy in your life word for word. God has done amazing things in your life.  Choose to remember them every day.  He has performed miracles  and wonders on your behalf.  Commit them to memory and speak of them often.  Praise Him for His grace and goodness.  Live a lifestyle of thanksgiving. Remember His decrees against the enemy and that because of them, the enemy has no power or place in your life.  You belong to the Sovereign God of the Universe.  He knows you by name and acts on your behalf.

Love & Blessings,
