Hope Overflowing

We all need hope. But first, we need to seek the God of all hope.

On the go? Press play!

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.  Rom 15:13 AMPC

We all need hope.  In a world where there is so much pain and injustice and sickness…  We all need hope.  When everything seems uncertain.  We need hope.  But before that, the world needs the God of hope.  As we seek the God of Hope, putting our hope only in Him, we are filled with hope once again.

Pray this prayer with me:

Lord, You are my hope.  You are my prize and great reward.  I put all my expectations in You and ground them in Your Word.  Thank You Lord that as I exercise my faith, I find peace and joy in trusting You.  It becomes a joy to trust before I know how it will all work out.  Because I know that You are good.  I find peace as I lean on You, knowing that You work all things together for my good.  I’m thankful that there is joy and peace in believing You – in looking to, relying on and expecting You.  I am filled with joy and peace today.

So I praise You now.  In the midst.  I praise You now because in You I have certainty in an ever-changing world.  As I praise You, joy, which is my strength, is released, and I am made full.

Thank You Lord that by the power of your Holy Spirit, I am bubbling over with hope.  I exude hope.  It overflows from my soul.  Joy has reacted with peace and caused the effervescence of hope!  A volcano of hope has erupted in my heart and it runs over into every corner.  Burning away doubt and despair.  Burning away fear and anxiety.  Burning away the need for control.   New earth is created in my heart.  Fresh and ripe for joy and peace to take root and sprout.

So I wait… I wait on you with joyful expectation…  I hope in You.  I am hope-full.  Full of hope in You.  Joy, peace and hope are my portion today, because of You Lord.  Thank You!

Love & Blessings,

Less Trodden
