For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.  Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV

Father, thank You for being the One who always has a plan.  Even when I can’t see the way ahead clearly.  Even when the future looks dim.  In You there is always hope.  Because You, Lord have plans for me.  I’m grateful that You said You have plans for me.  Not just any plan.  But something You devised especially for my good.  Though I may not know the details of Your plan, Your Word assures me that Your plans are good.  I am promised an outcome that brings hope because You know what I need better than I do.

I  may not know exactly what the plan is, but I know exactly who my God is.  You are the Alpha and Omega.  The First and the Last.  The Author and Finisher.  You are my Refuge, my Fortress, my Strong Tower and Safe Place.  You are the One who pursues me with His love in ways I have yet to fathom.  You protect me and cover me in all things.  You are my Good Father.  I may not know what the plan is, but I am certain of Your love for me.  You are Love.  Everything You do is an expression of that.

I may not know the plan.  And the truth is, even if I did, I probably wouldn’t understand it.  Because your ways and thoughts are high above mine.  What a peace in knowing that I don’t have to have it all figured out because You already do.  I belong to the God who created the entire universe.  I have no need to worry or fear.  I don’t need to know or understand Your plans Lord, because I trust You with my life.  By Your Holy Spirit help me to leave my need for control at Your feet and to trust Your good plans for me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen

Love & Blessings,
